SX190 with an OEM wake tower??

Hello

Just became a new Yamaha Jetboat owner - I purchased a 2012 SX190.

But I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer by searching this forum.

My boat has an OEM-looking wake tower. It looks just like the ones on the AR190, I'm sure it's the OEM tower.
It also has a J-seating, just like the AR190.

But the decal on the side of the boat says "SX190".

Any idea what the story is?

We have a 2012 SX190 as well. The seating sounds weird on yours, I've seen the "J" arrangement only on the AR version, our SX is 2 captain's chairs with "U" bench behind.

Oh shit didn't see the part where u had J seating too. Did you Google the year and see what color schemes both came in, that should give you your definitive answer. But why would they put SX190 on the side of it wasn't. Sounds like they just really wanted a tower and J style seating...lol
