Hey guys,
2015 SX192 with low hours. Not a mechanic at all besides plugs and oil. Running real rough at idle. Not a knocking but almost a misfire. Another thing to note, won’t go faster than 10mph full throttle and 5000 rpm.

You have probably hoovered up something in the impeller. It feels like it's the engine screwing up but it's probably something jammed against the spinning impeller. First time it happened to me I was positive my engine was the problem. Nope. Piece of wood.

I have read that. I am going to try to post video on YouTube. The 2 mechanics I have sent the video to told me water in the tank or plugs. It just sounds really bad....but misfire doesn’t sound good. Hopefully it’s an easy fix, replacing the plugs tonight.

Has the boat been sitting for a long time? bad fuel or plugs could be the issue, need to remove them and take a look, also smell the fuel and see if it smells like turpentine check your iol level and see if it is overfilled and blowing oil into the throttle body , may have a stuck injector flooding the engine.

Thanks for all the help. Turned out to be the plugs, they were all fouled!

mystery solved ,

Fouled plugs is a highly unusual problem for these fuel injected motors. Keep an eye on things.

Will do, this is what they looked like. Could of been original plugs

Changes your plugs annually. These engines do not like to run great on anything but pristine plugs.

Those do look used but I would not describe them as fouled. I don't think you have any problem. Go have fun and forget about it.
