Ok I need to mount a tablet in an sx210 (2010) the dash is not really amendable for this does anybody have suggestions or has some pictures. Thanks

I mounted my phone with a ram mount. I took the phone, put it in the x grip and moved it to where I like it. I mounted it by the throttles going up the slope towards the top. I used the permanent screw in mount , not the suction cup mount. If we get out this weekend, I will take a pic.

I'll second the RAM mount. They make an X-Grip for Tablets with retention bands. Works with their standard ball/socket designs. Quite the robust system.

Newer boat, but I use this ram mount with ipad. (mini). Haven't lost it yet, (well, once) coastal boating.
