tach jumping

We got our 2016 AR190 out on the water for the first time this season. When we started it up, it sound an alarm for a minute or so. Then it quit and the tach started jumping from 0-9 over and over. An error showed up saying “Engine Comm Error”. We cleaned the battery posts thinking that might be the issue. The error continued to display. It drove fine with without any problem. We wanted to see If someone could help us with what the problem might be.

Also, how often do you guys have your boat serviced? Thanks!

Did you ever get this figured out. May boat started doing the same thing and I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Appreciate any advice you may have on this problem
