I have what I think is an odd one. I have a 1997 Seadoo Speedster with twin 717. This weekend I pulled out the speedometer because it doesn't work and I'm going with a GPS speedo. After I got it out I decided to fire up the boat to make sure everything else was working. The left tach works fine but the right tack just slowly crawls up to 5000 RPM and just stays there. When I shut the motor off it returns to zero. I looked at both connectors and the are plugged in. Any ideas? The tach worked fine before I started the speedo removal.
