Going to be doing a water test on a 2010 ar240 , what rpm's sould I expect and what mph should I expect ? Just wondering ?

You'll be at higher altitude for your test than you will be at home. you might get to 45.

I am at 50-51 mph in Syracuse, NY.

My 2011 sx240's top speed all depends on conditions and who is on board lol. My first trip out it would only hit 46 mph at sea level this was a full tank of fuel and 8 people on board. Two weeks ago 5 people on board 3/4 tank of fuel it hit right at 50. Mine must be an anomaly though as my rpm's stop at 7850 on both engines. When I look at the tacks it does have top all time speed listed at 52 mph as the fastest it has been according to the computer and my top rpm is 7850. I have yet to personally hit 52 mph but I do know it always show my rpms at 7850 at WOT.

I feel your excitement I'm headed to test an 08 ar230 next weekend!

The 2010 had a recall for the helm detaching. Specifically "dashboard to become dislodged from the helm". I am trying to find a picture but it is easy to see if it was taken care of back in the day. Look for two bolts on the left side of the captains helm. They look like they don't belong there. If they are not there I know you can still get the parts and do it yourself. Just be aware.

Transom remote was a big dud on a lot of the 2010's. I never did anything about mine.

Yea it is stock radio , so I'll prob upgrade that fast :) ask anyone about my old boat , the wife likes music !!!!

You might want to check if its a CARB boat. Anyone know if the 2010's had any CARB? My 2013 was a CARB boat which has the California emissions on it. Its a little slower than a normal AR240. There should be a sticker on the side of the boat stating if its a CARB boat.

I hope it isn't , that would bum me out , I can't see anything like that in the pics

Being CARB still wouldn't detour me.

A CARB boat wouldn't stop me either but it might be worth a few hundred $ on the sale price.

I have a 2008 sx230.... those engines should turn around the 10,000 mark!
Different engine. 2010 changed from the MR1 to the 1.8 that maxes around 7500 RPM.
