Trade the Sierra away last week for a Q7. Q7 is amazing so far, however I already miss the GIANT console that was in the Sierra. It could fit SOOO MUCH stuff in there. Before we went to trade, I emptied the console into a box just to get it done. Went through and "sorted" everything yesterday.

HOLY COW there was a lot of stuff in there!

Anyone else have an issue with too many things in the console of the tow vehicle?

Holy cow. I’ll bet you forgot 1/2 that stuff was there. I have an X5 and it could probably hold less than half of what you have and I still forget what’s there!

You might need just one more pair of sunglasses ?

Someone really likes to collect sunglasses. Sunglasses ?

sunglasses. that will be all.

What year/engine Q7 did you get?

In our tow vehicle, I keep a tote in the trunk with some incidentals, jump box, straps, tool kit, compressor...

I lost my AirPods a while back, I searched my truck several times including the console over a few days.
While I was waiting for my son one day I took everything out and started throwing away receipts and junk....found my AirPods in there?

2017 3.0T Prestige with a bunch of extras........Started off searching for a Durango. Here's a link to the saga, complete with payoff pics of the new ride at the end.

I'll most likely add some small tote or something under the rear cargo storage area.

(4) of those were cheap 3M Safety glasses style sunglasses (my go-to in teh summer). I threw away 4 pairs in total due to scratches, or weird fit or other damage, and kept the best pair.

The hanging file folder was ~1in thick of "stuff". I will miss being able to have a hanging file folder actually hang in the console.

Seriously though, I'm already missing the column shifter and absurd "hold all the things" console. It was amazing!

My F150 has a cavernous console storage as well. I probably have 10 lbs worth of random junk in mine lol. Need to clean it out but I’m afraid if I do then the one time I need some random thing I won’t have it lol.
