The red thing on the stick is the secret to retrieving the red straw from the cylinder or in this case from inside the throttle body. A blob of sticky grease (belray Marine) on the end of a stick. Don't ask me how I now know how to do both. Cam.

Its actually quite easy as there is not much room in either cavity for it to go anywhere far. Just don't panic, and it comes out in a few minutes. Cam.

Like in the Matrix.......they should make the straw blue. Then the story ends and I could just leave it in and go back to sleep and wake up with every thing fine. But a RED straw..........Cam.
