The whole latch housing loose.

2017 FSH Deluxe. The whole latch housing is loose on the bait well. Took a look at it appears to be PVC and the “nut” on the underside looked to have blue bonding agent or perhaps blue loctite. Can I tighten these without breaking something and how to keep them from loosening again?

I had a similar issue with my bow floor storage compartment. I just aligned it and tightened up the nut and no more issues.
