Actually, this could be fun. Call and tell him you are a consignment seller and that for $5k you will take his boat and sell it for him. All you need is his credit card number--oops, that one didn't go through, do you have another?

That is most likely just what people think it is a scam . I recall a similar situation a few years ago that people from the old board were contacting the person and posting all their B S on the web site for everyone to see just what a big pile of garbage the add was so maybe we can do that again and have a few laughs.

I did try the phone number and got a recording saying that no one was at that extention. Kind of odd. I guess I better put a stop payment on that Western Union payment!

Funny you said that.....I was looking at the Govdeals.com site in Florida. Had to laugh the City of Cape Coral is selling 35,000 cubic yards of dirt. Opening bid was like $57,000. Not sure a city in Florida should be digging deep holes to generate cash.
