Inspect it closely and insist on a water test to confirm it runs well. I put more hours on my new boat the first summer and now it's at 201 hours...a 5 year old boat should have a lot more use than that, even if they like to float a lot. Just be aware that low hours could mean issues or left to sit and rust. Or it could simply be a good deal.
Research the reason it was not put on. There may be plenty of them, but unless you need the tower, or want it, put zero value on that tower.
When installed correctly, they can be a good tower of course. But installed incorrectly could be downright dangerous. (but seems like a good deal on the SX195 by itself)

The Connext is just a display, it doesn't record any data that I'm aware of. The engine hours are read from the ECU which records the hours and error codes. If you replaced the screen, it should still show the correct hours. Changing an ECU would change the hours though.

When I changed my screen I think it showed the hours originally, then at some point I noticed it had restarted. I know that sounds weird but I remember looking at it and thinking oh great the hours are still there until they weren’t.
