Throttle / Gate Cable

Howdy,

I am new around here so forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section. Additionally, if there is a location with all this information sorry again for a bad post.

I have what I believe to be a yellow 2004 sugar sand Xtreme 240hp jet boat. I purchased the boat used with no manual or owners book.

We have replaced the steering cable but never the throttle / gate cable. I spent weeks looking for a steering cable that would "work" - I don't want to spend that much time locating a good throttle / gate cable so I decided to join up!

Can someone please help? I can get any information off the motor / boat that you may need.

Problem is - I don't know what I'm looking for in terms of model [HASH=143]#.[/HASH]

It's not a Yamaha it's a merucry but it could be a Yamaha cable ?

Unfortunately the problem with a boat from a company out of business, you end up doing alot of legwork for parts
I think i might remove the old cable for comparison,
What type of connectors are on the ends?

That's what we're gonna do - just stinks you cant find any info on it anywhere

Measured both cables

The throttle is 8' and looks like


The gate cable is 11' and we see teleflex cc something on it

Any help would be appreciated
