I am having a blast in my first year with my 212ss. Great trailer boat to Cape Cod, local lakes, and just came back from a week in Lake George NY.
Have noticed lately my port throttle is very sticky compared with the starboard throttle which is very smooth. This makes it tough to keep them paired evenly. I tried WD40 on the cable under the hatch with no better results.
Would anyone have advise if a Throttle Sync devise would help?

Throttle sync won't fix a stick throttle lever as it is only a plastic fitting over the top of both handles.

Just realized I put this posting under the wrong forum (rookie mistake) - should have gone under General Discussions.
Hope to get advise here :(

Only 25% salt water use- with very thorough cleaning after each use. The sticky throttle is in both initial bucket move as well as upper speeds.
It feels like it could be inside the throttle housing

Possibly the friction screw is too tight. They are located on the back side of the throttle quadrant under a rubber cover.
