Time for one of you to confess

I’m glad it’s not me.

Is that @zipper towing his new sail boat? From his other posts I expected a little higher quality!

Funny, no not me either. My contraption would be higher quality...I would have used Gorilla tape.;) But seriously, no trailer purchased with our 35', 11,500# sailboat. Hydraulic trailers for that size boat are expensive and with a beam just under 12' you need a wide load permit.

That illegal trailer in the OP was an accident waiting to happen, no brakes? Hiring someone with a proper trailer would have been cheaper than the fine of $1500 and paying the salvage guy to haul it away. Not even going to dump/pile on the tow rig.o_O

Those crazy canucks!

Gotta do, what you gotta do to get to water! I commend them on their ingenuity! [flag]

Exactly! You don't expect to see that sort of thing so far north...

There is definitely not enough duct tape and hockey sticks for this to be true Canadian Redneck engineering. That is how we fix things up north.

If the women don't find you handsome, at least they'll find you handy.

Wait, @Ronnie Red Green isn't a household name out there on the west coast? He was a pretty big hit around the upper Midwest while I was growing up.
