So over the weekend I finally had a chance to run the boat I bought in the spring at WOT. At about 700 ft above sea level on lake Cumberland I topped out at 46 mph at 10k rpms. Speed was via GPS on the perfect pass. Does that seem about right?

That's pretty much what my '04 runs.

That's about what my '09 will do.

Not horrid, depending on what you all have on the boat.
You could look for dings and missing silicone this winter. Are you at 10k rpms both engines?

Full tank of fuel
Just me onboard
Engines at 10,200 rpm approx.
With calm water, I can get somewhere around 46 to 48 mph. My engines are the MR1 140 hp versions. I don't know if the 2009 had more powerful engines or not.

My 2008 sx 230 will go around 47 to 48 full of fuel.. people and the Bimini up... if I lower the top and the fuel is about half it will be at 50 or so. One engine at 10500 and the other at about 10200

both engines at about 10,200. about half a tank of fuel, no bimini up and 4 people and a couple of coolers onboard. Sounds like I am around the right speed. Thanks all for the feedback.

2005 HO with refurb'd OEM impellers, new OEM impeller housings, re-aligned drivetrains, new mid-bearing housings, fresh/perfect silicone and Yamabond for the pumps and intakes, and the reverse gates higher than OEM-spec to clear the jets. the hull looks smooth, but could probably stand to use a good cleaning and waxing to maximize speed:

first run out, my tachs read 10k-10.3k and i could just about touch 50mph (49.7-49.9) on GPS with half a tank and 2 people with fairly calm water/wind. with 3 people and a quarter tank (they about equal out), i can run 47-48.5mph on very light chop and slightly higher winds.

I've hit 51 (GPS) stock on a placid lake WOT with a full tank bimini tucked away.
