Yeah they said the same thing in the email I got as well. I hope it works for what it costs.

I received mine last week. Haven't had the boat in the water to see how it beads off but it definitely makes the black on my boat like a mirror. Really easy to put on as well.

I finally received mine and it's about gone already. I used some of it on the big boat where the gelcoat is a little oxidized and I feel that it sealed it pretty good. I sprayed it on and let it sit and it feels slick now. I did the entire Yamaha and it looks like I spent all day waxing and polishing and the shine is incredible. I haven't put it in the water yet either to see how the water rolls off of it. The black on mine looks like a mirror too! I think I'll be ordering a gallon soon.

I have some oxidation creeping it's ugly head up on the sides of my boat. Been thinking of having it detailed, but maybe not now. I may give this stuff a try if you had luck with it.

The bow of our Sea Ray needs professional help to get the shine back. The Topcoat stuff sealed it good where the gelcoat has become porous and allowing it to stain easily. I was going to have it taken care of this spring, but other things have taken priority as well as the funds so it'll have to wait. The Topcoat will at least slow the sun damage that's already there and prevent the spider poop from staining. I'm ready to use it on my camper where the front cap is a plastic and is faded a little. When I get more I will tackle that chore and report back the results.

If it's light oxidation you should have good luck with it. There is a video on YouTube where they use this Topcoat stuff on the hull of a blue boat that's oxidized and the shine came back. That's what sold me.

I would love to see a comparison between the TopCoat and the 3M spray. Mu uncle lives in a marina where everybody uses the 3M but always looking to find better. Always. Cam.

I tried using the F11 top coat on my old hurricane deck boat which had heavy oxidation it did nothing. I was very disappointed it fixed it for a few hours but by the morning the effects were gone. Waxing worked better.
