Anyone know if the 2” drop hitch is fine for a wrangler and a 19 foot boats Afraid it might sit too low.
 
Level your trailer and measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the tongue. Mine was 18" Then measure the distance on the Jeep from the ground to the receiver.

I actually need to get a new drop hitch on the new Jeep I bought last week. My old tow vehicle had a 6" drop.
 
Based on measurements I thought I would need a 2" raise. I only had a 2" drop on first attempt and it looked about as level as it could get.

Ended up getting a longer hitch and it's still tight with the 5th wheel, but at least I can see the ball now.
