Is there a " standard" length for tube tow ropes?? What length should I be using?? Thanks

Most tube tow ropes are 60 ft. Alot of guys add lengths to that as an adjustment to get the tube beyond the spray.

I have a 60 footer and people still get sprayed. I have been looking for a 10 or 15 foot tow rope as an extension. Anyone know of one pre-made? Cutting a rope seems to be the only option. I have seen some 50' ropes that have a 10' extension to make it 60'.

If you want out of the spray you will need 70 feet but with that much line keep a good eye on it as our boats are know to suck these things up

I always just buy a length of cheap ski rope and make some short sections. Tie a figure 8 knot in each end. Cam.

I have a couple of these for wakesurfing and use the extensions to add length to my tube rope.

And be careful even with just one of these as I managed to suck it up. It was so tight from my tower tow point to the impeller shaft I could have played it like a fiddle.
