In the middle of an audio upgrade. Brandon Loos set me up with an awesome 2 amp board that was a super easy replacement (with a ton of assistance from Brandon…THX!!). Now I am working on adding the tower speakers and am having a heck of a time fishing the wires. Anyone have a secret trick that I am missing? Already broke my fish in the tubing…. The challenge is the joint at the base of the folding tower that i can’t get past the existing wires. Yamaha 252SE.

Are you trying to fish down or up? When I fished wires on my 212X, I fished from the bottom of the tower to the opening at the top. It was a bit tricky to get the tape out at the top but not too bad. I can’t imagine the 255 tower is that different but obviously hard to be sure.

Just need plenty of patience. I’ve used yarn and a vacuum and a little luck.

Thanks Dave and Babin. Both great advice. I was giving up and taking it to a professional until yall piped up. Fishing up was a key difference. Patience is also key. For me I realized that the Front tower tube on my boat is constrained at the bottom pivot joint. The game changer was to fish up through the back tube and then cross over on one of the cross tubes using the factory access points. Worked great…with some patience…probably could have got a better quality fish kit as my Amazon job snapped 3 times…
