Tower Tweeter Speakers

Hello all. Has anyone replaced or upgraded the tweeters in the tower? I removed them to have my tower powered coated and destroyed the rubber boot around the tweeter when removing them. I can’t believe there $100 bucks each. Looking to see if anyone else ran into this issue and found a better replacement.

One of my tweeters went out. I bought Polk tweeters from Amazon for $60 / pair. Unfortunately, they were a tiny bit larger than the hole in the tower. I will need to find another tweeter that it just a little smaller in diameter (1/8")

I don't believe those are Marine grade. They're flipped upside down and protected by the tower and Bimini from water.
