I am going to tow a 242 X for 350 miles, is it ok to have the canvas top on? The dealer said it should be fine, but just wanted your opinion.

The dealer told me, and I think it is is the manual, that for speeds in excess of 60 MPH, the canvas should be removed.

Congrats on the new 24 footer! Did you end up getting it local at McMillan or did you drive to Buffalo or Syracuse to one of those dealerships?

I drove to staten island, they had it for 62k

I guess, I would not tempt fate. Just remove it for the long trip and be sure.

I agree...just remove it and save yourself the hassle of a possibly broken top...a few minutes on either side of the trip is better than who knows how much to repair/replace it.
