Tow Valve.png Has anyone hooked up a shut off valve for the cooling system? Just purchased a valve from Wave Eater to install on my boat. if I were to break down on the water I do not want to be stuck doing a 5 mile an hour tow back to the ramp. Just looking for a good place to install it. Thinking about under the cleanout tray. Any suggestions?

I have a 210 FSH, and put mine on sides in the engine compartment.

Unfortunately, if yours is set up like mine, under that tray is about the only place. And buried in a nearly unreachable spot too. Way down at the bottom behind all the exhaust stuff.
Lots of guys just carry a hose clamping pliers...good idea. I haven't got one yet but I should.
There are other threads on this if you do a forum search outside of the FSH thread.
I do like the valve solution though as it would have allowed me to do daily engine flushes while the boat sat in salt for two weeks on my recent vacation.

@Corey. I'm looking at ordering the same tow valve from WaveEater. Was the install easy? Any issues? Thanks!
