MFI Trailer, owner(s)? before me replaced the trailer axle once already with a a painted axle that is rusting to pieces, same for the leaf springs.
I've measures the axle several times now, and it appears to measure 94 inches Hub Face (From hub face to hub face) Most Axle supplies online seem to stock either 93.5in or 95in long axles in Galvanized with brake flanges.
I was hoping someone that still had an MFI trailer that might have replaced the axle/drivetrain already with other "compatible" parts might remember what was used in their replacement, and how well it worked.
As is, the tires are almost outside of the fender, so another 1/2 inch on each side may be substantial for purposes of fender protection. However I can also see the panel piece behind the tires and wheels bulging where the tire might hit it with severe turns that move the wheels at at angle (not sure this is the case, but it would seem). So it seems as currently designed the axle is both too wide and too narrow![Frown :( :(](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f641.png)
Anyway, feedback welcome!!!
