So I've ran across some ass backwards wiring in my trailer.

The ground from connector was cut off and not connected to anything, I ran that to a bolt inside the frame where one of my side yellow lights was ground.

Once I plugged that in my running lights on right side of trailer work, but nothing on the left side.

The brake lights and turn signals are out on both sides.

While discovering some crappy connections and redoing those I also found my blue wire was disconnected for surge brakes.

Should I bother will trying to isolate and fix all the issues or just rewire whole trailer?

Bulb lights not led.

Re-wiring the entire trailer is well worth the effort if you trailer the boat regularly. I always have peace of mind knowing that the texting loonball behind me sees my turning or stopping intentions.

I ended up rewiring it all... it's a lot better and way more clean then it was.

I’d swap them out to LED’s and rewire. Might as well swap the plug to a 7 round while you’re at it and do away with the 5 pin.

I did relight and rewire.

Found that one of the bolts in caliper was missing causing caliper to fall back and rub kn wheel well.

2006 mfi trailer.. what is best place to look for that part? Take another off and local auto store?
