If the deal goes through, I should be driving my boat back from TN to FL this weekend.
The dealer said they don't use tags on the back of trailers in TN. He doesn't know about GA for FL.
Any pointers?
Thanks

Florida requires a plate on the trailer. Just visit your local tax collectors office and get one. You'll need the bill of sale.

Quick google search indicates they are not mandatory, but they are available in TN. Push the dealer to see if he can get them since you are driving from so far. @Murf'n'surf idea is great too if you can get them to register the trailer before picking it up.

Bill of sale and the COO (certificate of origin) would be needed in Florida.
