Transducer location 195 FSH - Help

Did I mount the transducer in a bad location? I am not getting a depth reading and now the boat seems to pull to the right when going above 20 mph.

it needs to be relocated to the transom if you’re going to use that mount. Ride plate mounting should be flush.

My Garmin GT56 is mounted here with zero issues. 2020 195 FSH.

To be honest I think you did and I think you're going to smash it off. I get the ride plate mount and thats where I did mine and I'm 4 years on and it works like a champ. Here's a pic and there's a video on my install that I did. No holes in the boat for it or the wire back up to the head unit.

You are half way there already so maybe rethink and reset it. Would hate to see it get torn off and need replacement when only a few more tasks are necessary to make a better mount.

Do you have thrust vectors?
