Trip of a lifetime? I hope so!

No but looked into it seemed neat but was a bit pricey for me but looked cool.

Pricey is putting it nicely! In full disclosure my buddy is well off and is picking the tab up for my brother and I or this wouldn’t be happening. Haha

I took that trip dozens of times - worked on the ferry boat that went from Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island. Never once did I yearn to do it on a pwc. But every single time I was in awe of the beauty!

Hah yeah, 700 miles on a ski might be harder than any of us can imagine. We shall see. I’m in decent shape. A few of my buddies not so much.

Wow, that seems like an awesome trip.

Looks awesome, but that price...

This is one along the Tennessee (i know...not even close to the same) that I thought about doing back when I had my Waverunner.

Video is from a while back, but they do it every year.

That looks amazing and you're going to a great story to tell. What an awesome friend! I should be doing this for a living on the east coast.

Yeah, I’m pretty pumped. I’ve been to Vancouver and couldn’t believe how beautiful it was, hopefully the rest of the trip will follow suit!

And yeah, a pretty selfless buddy I have there. I’ll be sure to be in for more than a bar tabs that week

I agree and have looked into it in the past but there really isn't much of a market for it here on the East Coast. The TV show really helps them be able to charge a premium for this and get some exposure if it wasn't for the show I would have never known they were doing this. Several companies have tried offering Bahamas trips and other organized runs and none of them have really made expect things that are once a year events. Now if you had some scratch and could own all the skis like the DW guys do then you really could market this to corporations as a team building event you would really have to to cater hard on it but could be profitable probably if done that way probably just running some rivers down here in the south or up in VA somewhere you would want to be near Atlanta, Charlotte, or possibly someplace like New York though.

Is your buddy taking applications for new friends?

That could be a new jetboaters destination for a trip...?

Wow $5800 to $6200 for a an extended pwc ride, it works out to about $1,000 per day and most of the 2018 trips are sold out or will be soon.

The furthest I’ve traveled in one day on a pwc is about 100 miles and it’s harder than it sounds. I can’t imagine going that far or further for six days in a row. If those pwcs don’t have cruise control I recommend that you bring your own, half of a clothes pin should do it, ghetto style anyway.

All that stated, if a spot opens up please keep me in mind.

Have you guys found a 4th wheel yet? Please tell your friend that I will gladly accept the position

Great idea btw on the cruise control. Might have to get creative. Thanks for the idea. And to your credit, 100 miles a day... I be really interested to see the wear and tear it does to the ol body.

100 miles per day can be easy or can be very taxing. It just depends on the water you travel in. @robert843 and I did 200 miles straight in one day last year from West Palm to the Abacos. It was pretty taxing but we've also did well over 100 up and down the ICW and it was nothing. I imagine you'll get a little of both on that trip. Cruise helps tremendously IMO.
