A friend of mine told me about this device today. I had told him about wanting to be able to charge the trolling motor battery bank while cruising on the main propulsion.

I called and talked with the tech support and explained the limitations of the OEM charging system and the tech told me that this device will only charge as long as the system is producing 13 volts or more, and as such will keep from damaging the OEM stators.
