what is the best way to find the leak?

(It's a 3 person towable that the kids sit on.)

Unless it is a really slow leak, blow it up to full capacity in a quiet room and listen for the leak (you'll want to take the cover off first).

Once you find it, most tubes come with repair kits, or you can get one on Amazon. The hardest repairs are seams.... Check the type of material and get something like this.

As said above, fill and observe. If inpatient, just wipe the surface with soapy water and a sponge/rag. Then the air leaking will start blowing bubbles. Deflate, wipe dry and patch with patch kit. Pretty simple pieces of rubber/plastic and rubber cement. Apply weight or clamp and dry.

shoo goo great, but if on a seam forget it.....temporary fix at best. If an airhead brand forget it....airheads are the worst for leaking at major seams.

I have an air mattress that has went for 2 years on the seam using shoe goo.... I guess it matters if you get it in there or not.
