That is a downer though...
 
That place should be renting a heavy duty replacement lift for its customers,
1st world problems for sure... But still.
 
On the bright side it didn't break while it had your boat up in the air, just saying.
 
I am surprised they wouldn't have two lifts.
 
Our marina has two lifts, but I only see the one being used. I should ask them if it's backup, or broken.

That is a real bummer, but maybe they'll surprise you and get it fixed earlier.
 
Many that I know of only have one lift. Good thing it didn't break down while you were out. What a mess that would be especially if you stored your boat there and didn't have a trailer.
