Hey guys and gals,

First let me say that everyone who works for JBP and their families are all safe after the storm.

5 of my employees are without homes plus my business partner lost his home. We're without power, water, sewer, internet, phones, and employees. To say the least this was a worst case scenario.

Panama City and the surrounding communities is a complete wasteland and looks like something out of a zombie apocalypse movie set for 50 miles in every direction from the epicenter.

JetBoatPilot staff are our biggest concern right now, and I'm afraid that If we don't get some help headed their way soon that some may choose to move to other cities to find work and shelter.

Also if you'd like to consider helping JBP in any way we're going to be offering gift certificates for sale at 10% off during the next few weeks until we can get the business operational.

We opted to keep paying our employees while we're shut down but we cant sustain this for more than about two weeks. If you would like to do this a gift certificate will be available for purchase online tomorrow and I'll send each of you who subscribe to our newsletter a link to the page where you can purchase.

Again we're not asking for a free handout, but are definitely in need of any financial help we can get during this time.

Also any of you who have placed orders and have not received your shipments as of yet, I want to assure you that we will ship as soon as we can get back into the office and get utilities operational.

Are the homes salvageable or need to be flattened at this point?

We got our electricity back on today. Running water is what I really missed the most. Glad the hurricane took a east hook mostly missed us. Just trees knocked down.

Will, you are exactly right in your description. I'm in Walton co, so we got spared, but i've spent a few days in Lynn haven running chainsaws and cooking for those that need it. I'm headed back tomorrow to hit remote areas where the people can't get out, and need supplies. Putting the Jeep to work to get access and supplies to those that can't get it themselves.

@brockhals whether it is part of your job or you are volunteering your own time to help out...thank you! Despite the reports of looting and people taking advantage of the situation, it is great to see people come together and help their fellow man and woman in times of need.

@waternutt Welcome! It's the least I can do, and we are all volunteers thru Chapel at the Beach in Rosemary Beach. I was told Sunday that we raised $100K for the cause. We dodged a bullet being on the west end of the beach so we are all helping where/how we can. We are now putting together a clothes drive and tried to get a trunk or treat setup in Lynn Haven for the kids, but the city squashed that one for now.It's nice seeing the progress made each day, from added streets cleared to power being restored. I just hope the rebuild will be well planned at the city level.

i think we're starting another site toward Mexico Beach now that there is access.
