Upgraded my Yamaha 190 FSH Trailer Rims and Tires because Original Factory ware Defected

Wouldnt they be under warranty?
yes but you have to call Carslile the tire supplier they ware the ones that provided the tire and rims for the trailer if they are defected they will replace it but you have to make a video and send them a link and they will review it and you may be reimburse '
hope this helps Cap.

I just had my tires replaced by Carslile. It was really easy. Just took a pick abd described the issue and they sent me 3 radial tires.

Whats defective on the tires and wheels on your trailer?

the aluminum rims i got they are machine maid not like the rims that came with the trailer they are welded and they wobble on the road and make a nasty vibration
lift your trailer on its side and spin your wheel and you will see what im talking about ,carslile replaced my rims 3 times and all of my replacements had wobble issue .

The first mod I made to my trailer was remove crappy stock wheels and install aluminum ones with radial tires. On my last Yamaha I only changed the tires and kept the wheels. I was surprised when I took off the brand new wheels when I took delivery to see the back-sides already rusting. Since my average towing distance is 150-200 miles each way, I don't want bias ply tires on the trailer.

Same thing with me ,it rides alot better in the highway.

Any idea of the stock wheel specs ?

I'm guessing FSH 190 use the same combo as the SX and AR 190 boats do. If it's 13" wheel then it's the same setup. If it's 14" whee then it's the same as SX/AR 192/195. Bolt pattern should be 5x4.5". See this thread Replacing 13" tires with 14".

I need to contact Carlisle as well since mine have shown cupping that I noticed in my last trip out. I may switch to radials but don't want to spend much more on the boat sense I'm likely selling it but I'm going to try and contact Carlisle and see if I can get some replacements for the next owner.

Dump the Carlisle bias plys and put on a set of Radials. You’ll be glad you did.

@tomoc sx190 ... See attached picture. I purchased the wheels from recstuff.com for about $75 each, then purchased the tires through a local shop and they mounted them.Boat 242x.jpg
