Hey all,

Sorry if it’s not allowed, please delete.

Im negotiating with a private seller for a used boat purchase, it’s a 2021 with less than 40 hours so like new condition, but used nonetheless.

I just finished applying at 4 different banks to see the best rate / deal I get. I applied at Space Coast CU, Bank of the West (Essex), Southeast Financial and Trident financial.

What other banks do you guys suggest? I searched the forums but didn’t find anything recent in April 2022.

Thanks!

I found a woman's name on the forum that a guy said he had a really good experience with, so I contacted her. It was a seamless transaction. I bought a 2020 FSH from a private party on here. Just a bit of info and some paperwork to sign, and it was finished. Rates were pretty competitive. Loan was funded in a couple of days and I drove from Atlanta to Tampa and picked up the boat. The previous owner still had a lien with Yamaha also and she handled all of it. Hope you experience is just as good if you use her. It also helps to have a seller that is great with communication, too.

Her info is:

If you have excellent credit I would suggest LightStream. They are who I used with my first boat, no lien just cash deposited into your account makes the transaction seamless.
