I found a dealer near me that has a brand new(I know its 2019) 2015 vortex VR with twin 150s supercharged. they are willing to sell at a really good price. its never been in the water or even had the batteries hooked up. my fear is that it wont have enough power or top speed...… is there anyone out there with the same set up that could tell me their thoughts?? im currently in a 2017 Yamaha AR190 and ready to go a little bigger and want more power. is this vortex with twin 150s supercharged gonna make me happy?? its the 223

The 150's are not supercharged. The 200's , 250's and 300's are supercharged. I have twin 200's and they are great. I believe the twin 150's in a 22ft boat would be an improvement over the ar190. I dont know the exact top speed but I would think around 48mph to 50mph. My 200's will do 54mph...

ok... that's what I thought. the build sheet on the boat states twin 150s however the boat has "supercharged" badges and is says supercharged on the engine covers.....its a brand new boat and never seen water. either the build sheet is incorrect and it has the 200s or someone went nuts and stamped it incorrectly. see the engine pic below, supercharged is on one of the engine covers.

I don't know these boats at all, but do they come from the factory without airboxes and with K&N style filters?

Well I made a purchase, went with the 2019 scarab 255 open ID with twin ace 300’s. This is one badass machine, very impressed!
