I noticed my wake tower lanyard (just found out what it's called on a part website!) is loose. Does anyone know what is missing? Is there a washer or something that fell out? I was surprised to find it like this. My tower is being held up by one lanyard when collapsed and hoping it doesn't buckle before I fix it. Has anyone else experienced this? I attached some pics.

Yes, there is a large pair of fender washers with a piece of rubber sandwiched between them (as a damper) and nuts holding it on the threaded lanyard. Looks like the lower nut came off and then the washer assembly fell into your starboard storage compartment. It's probably laying around in there somewhere.

If you can't contort your body enough to reinstall it with the lanyard still attached to the tower, you can lower the tower and remove the lanyard retention block, held in place with a single allen head bolt. That way you can reinstall the washer assembly onto the lanyard on the bench. Then use a long wire which you feed down through the tower and gunwale, fish the lanyard back up, and reattach it to the tower.
