New Yamaha boat owner. Wondering what everyone does for outdoor winter storage for the wake tower speakers?

Just bought a 2018 242x e series. I took the sound bar off but the round speakers are hard wired in with no connector. Do people cover them or should I cut the wires and add a connector and just take them off for the winter? Unfortunately I’m storing the boat outside.

same here, I have the wetsounds soundbar and it's in my closet right now.
