Wakeboard Tower Hinge Plates

Can anybody direct me to what part the metal plate is inside the wakeboard tower, like where it hinges? We didn’t know about the locking screws that are put in place when trailering & just thought the tower was sticking so used more force than we should have to try to raise the tower. We ended up bending the metal plates so now the tower won’t go all the way up (after we removed the locking screws). Example pic (of what it should look like) is attached.
