Wakeboard Tower Winter Storage

Hi All first time posting. Alot of great info on here.
Purchased a 242x this year with the wakeboard tower and solar panels. Started going thru the winterization steps. i was curious how others with the same model store their boats. do you remove the tower fabric or leave in place? also do you leave the batteries in the boat so they continue to charge using the solar panels? any guidance would be appreciated. tried doing a search but no luck. i will be covering the boat with the OEM mooring cover. Thanks
