Good for you Travis!! Awesome job!

Thanks man!

I think I finally figured out how to work YouTube...here is the video from above of me wakeboarding:

@maboat @BravoMike @jawsf16 You can hear @PEARCE in the background.
Here is the video of me "skiing". I think some more practice is in need!

Glad to see you are picking up the sport. It makes you feel young. In your case, it keeps you young. The more you do it, the more you will enjoy it. Thanks for the video's.

Thanks! I turned 30 a few weeks ago. Wasn't looking forward to that. Life is still great though!

@travis I would luv to see 30'again! Actually, would love to see to see 16 again with the knowledge I have now :D Thanks for the vids. Totally agree with everything @Boat Crazy said.

16 again would be super sweet

That is awesome!!! Now time for wake surfing!

@jcyamaharider This was about the best I could do. I need some more practice!

I would love to get back into slolom sking, wake boarding, and knee boarding, but the wife has baned me from such things after lower back, and rotator cuff surguries. You guys have fun out ther.

You do have to take care of the body you have. I am sure my time is coming too eventually. But for now, it is game on!!!

You are right there, just keep at it. I would suggest not turning the board down until you are actually ready to get up. I would also suggest starting farther toward your left of the boat so you don't come up in the wake. ( this would be more for the driver ) What length was the rope? maybe try shortening one loop as well. These are things that we tell beginners when they are on the boat.

Edit: The first video was a real good place to start just ( in the water ) keep practicing and you will get it!!!

I tell you what. Those are all good suggestions. But, why don't you just come on down and join us at Lake Texoma this weekend and show me first hand. ;) :winkingthumbsup"

LOL, yeah that actually wouldn't be too far to drive but I have my Parents visting the Grandkids this weekend from Indiana. Next Weekend is testing on a 2012 242 LS with the wedge, weekend after that is Labor day sandbar camping trip, the next 2 weekends after that are weddings..... Gee wiz I am just tired from typing it out...

Just googled it.....9 hour trip....

Well, just bring the parents and the kids. We will all still have a good time!

I will defiantly put it on the list for next year.

Alright, alright.....I will quit giving you a hard time. I really do appreciate the tips above though. Thank you!
