Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Dealer told me two different things… does the wakebooster mount to the same side of the bot as the skier or the opposite site? Sorry for the dumb question.
Whatever side of the boat you want the surfer to be on is the side you attach it to.
For example:
If your surfer surfs "Goofy" style thats right foot forward. Then you would attach the wake booster on the driver side (starboard).
Most people surf left foot forward, that would be Port side.
An easy test to figure out what foot the rider prefers forward to see if they are goofy or regular . Stand behind them and push them forward what ever foot goes out first is a great determination of what foot will be on the front of the board right foot first is goofy left foot is regular.
