Been ignoring this for a while, but want to get it fixed now.

Last year I had to have the glass replaced in the walk though windshield. The cause will remain undisclosed at this time to protect the guilty.

I removed the center section and had a local glass shop replace it.

When I reinstalled it, it is not in line with the starboard line of the windshield. It is lower, like it’s drooping (or angled down) toward starboard.

I have tried to see if there is a way to adjust the windshield, but it wont budge.

I loosened the screws in the walkthrough section to see if I could shift the frame to even it up, but it won’t budge.

Any suggestions?

Last thing I am going to check, if I have to, is to remove the frame, and disassemble completely removing the glass, to see if the glass guy put too big a piece of glass in that is preventing it from squaring up.

I've had the same problem (out of square) since I bought the boat new, in 2015. Had the dealer adjust the walk-through piece and fix some gel coat at the corner where the dropped walk-through frame had rubbed into the gel coat, under warranty. Their adjustment didn't help much and it was still out of square, I prevented any new gel coat damage by putting a small piece of cloth at the bottom corner whenever traveling with the windshield closed (almost always on the trailer towing it, almost never when on the water). Until this past fall, when I forgot to and the two hour drive each way to the storage unit did quite a bit of damage to the gel coat again that I noticed this spring. I'm going to forget the dealer, and fix it this fall on my own, but I'll subscribe to any advice on trying to get the walk-through windshield more square so this doesn't happen in the future!

When I've tried looking at it, I don't see anyway to adjust the plumbness of the frame. Based on this being like this since new, I have to think it's just one of Yamaha's famous QC Issues, and the only way to completely fix it is to replace the whole windshield frame, which I'm not about to do.
