Wanted To BUY - Scarab 165 ID (With 300hp, tower and prem. audio) OR 195 Open

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a used Scarab 165 ID with the 300 hp motor, Tower & Premium Audio options asap. Anyone looking to sell before winter? I have cash in hand. Yellow would be my least favorite color and grey or blue favorite color choices. Would also consider the 195 Open with 250 or 300 motor.

Yeah probably best to find one in the USA. If nothing pops up, there's a 250 fully loaded 2018 that I'm planning to move on shortly. I'd just really love to have the 300 instead of the 250.

I'm not sure the 50HP will make a big difference in grand scheme of things, but the maintenance free supercharger that goes with the 300HP is very nice.

What did you end up getting?

I know of a 2019 190id with basic options that looks new. Has the 300hp engine and cognac seats. It's in Michigan sitting on a showroom floor with 20 hours. The owner decided it was too much boat. They are asking 39,500.00. Just make sure there is a dealer that can do warranty work close by. There is a year left on the warranty. Scarab gives u three years total. I almost bought it but decided that I didn't want to trailer the boat 80 miles for service while the Yamaha dealer is right up the road. Check Boattrader Scarab Boat Ad

Ended up driving up to Indiana and picked up a 165 with the 250. It’s a 2018 with 14 hours.

We've already doubled the hours on it. We love it so far. Ended up adding a second battery and multi position switch for the sand bar days. We're in South Florida, highs in the 80's here this week.

Also, is that a painted steel trailer? It wont last salt water as it will rust from inside out. May want to find galvanized or aluminum one.

We usually launch from Boynton Beach but it depends how much time we have. Sometimes we launch in Boca or Blue Heron Bridge. We go to beer can island in Boynton, Peanut island in WPB, Haulover sandbar and Lake Boca. HBU?

You did really well! Mine was 27k no tower no premium stereo. I’ll post pics when it comes in. I do have 2 years left on engine/components warranty and it had zero hours before my test drive. Found out how to transfer if anyone needs to know. I love that tower though I will eventually have to spring for that

Love it finally got her out last weekend! Now I just need to find a way to buy parts, looking for a tower. Word is scarab is down for months from a cyber attack, kinda unbelievable. I plan to do more rest this week.
