Hey guys, no clue how this happened. I normally don't spray anywhere near here with the hose when I clean the boat. Maybe I did by accident?? It's been like this for about 10 days. Should I let dealer deal with it since it's under warranty? Should I just undo all the bolts around the dash and hand dry it all and put it back together? Think there may be any long term damage done? Thanks for the help!

Even if you did accidentally spray hose in this area or if it rained sideways in there seems this should be sealed tight, no? Maybe just condensation??

Condensation. Commonly reported owner issue. I've had mine replaced under the YES warranty.

Thanks for the reply. The way I noticed was I went to turn the navigation lights on at night and the light that normally turns on in the rpm gauges flickered and didn't come on. So that must be fried or something. Didn't turn on after trying it again later either. Such a bummer, hopefully they fix it under my 4 year warranty.

I had it in mine after a wash job. Cleared up after about 3 weeks.

Had mine replaced under yes I met a retired Yamaha dealer he said he saw this even with the replacements what he did to stop it is wire the gauge light to the ignition switch that way its on when the boat is on
What I do is just leave the anchor light on all the time that way the gauge light is on and keeps it clear

@Tony Jarvis this jives with a post I read somewhere that said to keep the gage light on to help to dehumidify the moisture that is trapped. My YES replacement gages also have moisture in them.

Mine started clouding Up again before I heard this trick I also sealed them before putting them back in
