Water line cleaner?

What are you guys using to remove the scaly water line off your boats? I just picked up some Starbrite Hull Cleaner and I was not very impressed. I have a black hull, and I was a bit scared to leave it on for a super long time so maybe that was why it didn't do an amazing job. One of my buddies recommended MARYKATE On/Off hull cleaner. Thoughts? Any others you swear by?

Best Way To Get Algae And Water Stains Off Boat

1/2 plain blue Lysol toilet bowl cleaner + 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. Mix only a small amount, since the unused mixture loses it's effectiveness after a short period. spray or wipe on with a sponge, then hose off.

Buy spray bottle and use mix above, have never found anything better and and super cheap.

I used the hull cleaner with the spray head and scrubbed with a medium duty brush. Got the scum from a month in the water off pretty well. Now sits on a lift, good luck.

Barkeepers best friend for less than 3 dollars at the super market. It is MAGICAL!!!!! apply with a brush or blue scrubbing pad. scrub for a few seconds and witness the miracle... takes about a whole minute to remove all the scum. It's pretty cool to watch.

Star Brite Ez-on Ez-off hull cleaner works great, this cleaner is really similar to the Marykate, it specializes in taking care of scum lines and rust stains. It has an environment-friendly formula, I really like this feature.
