i thought there was a pre existing thread on this but I could not find it. Here is a link to A tour from long beach to Catalina island off the coast of Southern California. The price seems great too me, especially since i would not have to tow my own waverunners down from Northern California.

I would love to make this trip if I lived on the other coast!

IF the weather is good and the seas are relatively flat, this MIGHT be fun. It's frequently overcast or foggy on the crossing making it COLD. It's about 18-24 NM depending on where you start and 3-5 foots seas would slow you down greatly. Morning would obviously be the most flat but you'll still get good ocean swells once you get out a few miles.

However, enough buffalo milk at the Harbor Reef restaurant in the isthmus will numb and warm you up nicely!
