We had a 2007 230 LS that we bought used and loved! You had an arch too! We wished we had an arch.

Thanks all! I/we have some questions.
(1) The radio/speakers sound pretty bad. We're not sure why. Any ideas of what we can do?

(2) We're getting what seems like a lot of Water in the bilge. Also when we took it out and pulled the drain plug out water kept coming out for a bit of the drive home. I drove behind the boat while my husband drive the truck so I saw it coming out.

(3) Sirius no preview channel - is there a receiver? Where would it be if there was one?

Sorry for so many questions! Thanks!

1. Do the speakers sound bad all the time or specifically at high volume? I thought the Polks on the Limited S were supposed to be an upgrade over the traditional stock speakers. If they sound off at high volume, you may need to add an amplifier to clean them up.

2. How much water do you get out of the bilge? Mine is typically dry unless I am doing a lot of heavy watersports and stopping from speed often. I belive most of it comes in when I get the tidal wave up onto the swim deck. You could try filling the bilge with the plug in to see if you notice any water coming out...?

3. I'm not sure about the new boats, but previous models were "XM or Sirius Ready" and didn't include the antenna.

Sorry for answering your questions with questions. Lol.

3. No, you have to add an xm tuner. I just did this to my '15 242 last week. This is what you need...

Congrats on your new boat. Would like to more photos without the cover :).

I as well just moved from an i/o to a jet. Pretty exciting. As far as the amplifier, I just added it to my boat and it sounds great. With new speakers as well. During my test drive, the stereo did not sound very good. But of course, I have the SX not Limited S. I am surprised that yours did not sound good from the git-go. Many people say that adding an amplifier really adds character to the sound.

Welcome.

:Welcome: and congratulations!
