Friday, started driving to Daytona Beach Shores.
Saturday, started Irma cleanup. Bought fence posts.
Sunday. Set all new fence posts on the south side of the house. The ones that blew over (broke off) were 18 years old. Ate at The Garlic in New Smyrna. Fantastic restaurant.

We're here all week. Hoping for at least a day of down time later in the week.

How was your weekend?

Are you cleaning up your home or helping someone? Sounds like progress either way.

Spent the weekend with my family and some great JetBoaters enjoying friendship, smooth water, a beautiful sunset and a starry night.

Cleaning up our place. Most was just nuisance damage so all is good. Lots of folks less fortunate.

We cleaned up on Monday after the storm, it was nice to have that out of the way so quick. Worked all-day Saturday but brought the boat to work, went out for a Sunset cruise after work then hit a restaurant on the inter-coastal. Spent Sunday at the Buc's game.

Got the boat out for its maiden voyage! Was flawless until I had to fight with the dam transom straps those are going in the trash very soon. Otherwise some tubing with the kids...IMG_0860.JPG

Boat Buckles are your friend.

Friday, at an empty beach, maybe 4 boats. Found the Beach Guard asleep at his post, in the sand. Introduced in another thread on 9/12. Gave him a new post on my dash, need to peel that velcro off...still there from PO.20170917_145534_001.jpg Saturday, maybe 70 boats and and a water volleyball game.20170916_155113.jpg Sunday was a 3 inflatable day, the pool tube has a cold beer holder. Works good. IMG_20170917_150319440_HDR.jpg Ok the weekend is over. Monday, ran a couple of new Maple sap lines in the woods. Today, went to the beach, hung out and changed the windshield screw cover. Great weather lately. The last 5 days were great...4 of them on the Yamaha.
