As the song goes got the boat in spring an convinced the wife we needed a new truck. Seeing it will be her vehicle I let her pick it out. I wanted the tundra but she wanted the Silverado, so we got the high country Silverado. I will admit it did ride the nicest out of the all the trucks we tested. New Silverado.jpg

NICE!

Yea we decided on a 3 year lease as this is our first pickumup truck so if we like it in 3 years we buy it or if it sucks we dump it and get my 1st choice the tundra. So I'm kinda torn, I don't want a truck that gives us a lot of problems but I'd kinda like a new tundra in 3 years

Great looking truck!

Very nice! Most people I know once they have a pickup they are never without again. So if you end up hating the Chevy you'll get your Tundra after all. FYI the "Buy me a Boat" song has a F150 in the video. Did you get a Yeti 110 too? Lol

Beautiful truck!

congrats, don't ya just love that new car smell:D

I'm thinking the yeti will be a winter purchase for next year.

The 105 fits perfect right in front of the engine hatch if you don't mind stepping on/over the cooler.

Congrats. Great looking truck.

The High Country models are very nice. Congrats!

Thanks everyone. So far so good. The wife loves it and doesn't let me drive it much.

You'll love the truck. Everyone has their favorite brand and can give you a million reasons why you bought the right truck or the wrong truck. I think you made a good choice - know several folks with the new GM trucks and everyone loves them.

Thanks @David D it was tough trying to figure out which truck to get. I researched for a long time and no matter how much you read and watch reviews there are always good reviews and bad reviews. So we just drove a bunch and let my wife decide which one she liked the best. Even among my friends there is a GMC, a couple Rams and a Ford and all say they have the best.

HAHA! Mine is the opposite! We don't listen to much country but the wife keeps singing that song. So this weekend I bought me a truck first, since the Explorer won't pull our new boat when we get it (too heavy). Now I just need the boat to complete the song ......and the Yeti ;)

Is that Germain Ford? The Germains own almost every make of car dealer in this area.

Yep sure is. Same thing here, just about every make except Chevy and Chrysler.. I mean Fiat.
Obviously Ford and I know they have Lexus too as we bought our Explorer there. I also think there is Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mercedes, Infiniti, BMW

Crazy huh.

What made you go with the F150? I liked them but never even drove one. The prices seemed so much higher for the same equipment. Also didn't want twin turbos.
