Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
always flush my motors after each day use ... would boat sitting and running in salt for a week cause any harm being unable to flush ? ..... place im looking to stay does not have a boat lift .... thanks
Don't worry too much as long as you use it at least every other day. Flush engines after you are done for the week, take a decent cruise in fresh water if you can and cleat the boat thoroughly. I Did wet slipped is salt water twice last year, each time one full week with no issues.
Everyone go goes on the Bimini trip does this for a week. I've done it 3 times - no issues. You will want to plan a LOT of time to clean off all the salt once you get back. It is amazing how it gets everywhere! Saltaway will be your friend.
