First day out on new 242 SE. Loveit, except pulling into my slip.

Both batteries are showing 41v charge. Is that about tight or low?

Want to make sure that I did not get bunk batteries.

I was not wearing my glasses. I assume it was 4.1 per battery. Would this be a bad set of batteries? Or donInjust need to run the boat so they charge?

Looking at the specs it says 12 v. 85 Ah. So I believe the 41ah was what the gauge was showing. Slightly below half charge?

4.1 amps sounds better. The true way to tell is looking at the actual voltage of a resting battery in tenths of a volt.
41 ah is the storage left in the batteries at the current usage. Voltage or specific gravity are the best way to tell battery condition.

Ok, 12.3V that's normal. If you want to be absolutely sure, measure at the battery with a multimeter. The wires to the conext screen are small which causes about 0.3V voltage drop.
